Win a £20 Gift Card from Carluccio’s!

“If I could take only the basics of Italian food with me to a desert island, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose hard grained flour, tomatoes, olive oil and parmesan cheese. If I could take some flavourings I would take some basil and garlic”

Antonio Carluccio – Founder

Carluccio’s first started life in 1991 when Antonio and Priscilla opened their food shop in Neal Street, bringing the finest quality and authentic regional Italian food to London.

They carefully wrote each label by hand and explored the length and breadth of Italy to find the best ingredients. In 1999 they opened the first Carluccio’s Caffè in Market Place – an authentic Italian restaurant and a continuation of their successful food shop.

Their aim was to provide great quality, authentic Italian food at sensible prices, and to provide informal but excellent service to their customers. That aim remains the same today and every meal is cooked by Antonio’s motto, MOF MOF. Minimum of fuss, maximum of flavour.

Today, Carluccio’s have 77 restaurants across the UK serving breakfast, starters, mains, dessert as well as offering kids, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Don’t forget their shop which offers wine, spirits, sauces, pastas, biscuits and other wonderful food products to stock up your larder. Italian biscuits are delicious…we should know, we’ve eaten a fair few. Check out the full range of deli products here.
